saturday morning

Goodmorning!!
I have had a pretty darn nice week. Kristen was here with wonderful soups and juices just as I needed them after the chemo and now my sister Sharell is here to keep me company reading, walking, swimming and laughing in the sunshine. I am hoping to get to Orlando today to see Sandy Hess from Kids First and her daughter Maggie who is participating in a National Cheerleading event. I'm beginning to accomodate a bald head rather nicely and now that the wig is cut and styled I feel more myself when I am out and about. Although, I will tell you wearing just the scarf or hat oug does get one some nice attention from the store people......While Florida is nice for the warmth and sunshine, I am missing those beautiful little faces of my grandsons very much. Ingemar, Runar and Andy: here's lots of love from Nana coming to you.
Thank You everybody for all your wonderful goodness, have a great weekend. Love MC

Hi Mom,
The boys have been looking forward to today for about 5 months now. The Star Wars exhibit opened at the Franklin Institute. We went with two other families so there were 12 of us in all - ALL of us Star Wars fans. The exhibit was great but very crowded. We decided that we'll need to go again later on in the day when most people are eating dinner. The kids had a blast though. We a new bumper sticker for the Mini Cooper - "Use The Force"...love you,Bridgette

Hi Mary Carol,

Your progress with the Chemo agenda is wonderful. "Mind over matter" really does play an important part in getting through this phase. Your "one day at a time" approach and enjoyment of all fun things is exactly the way to go.

You are having a tremendous effect on all of us,along with positive results for yourself!

Admiration, love and hugs--

Sheila

Hi, Mary Carol.
I feel healthier just looking at the photo of that green drink. Lots of love to you and Sharell from the rainy Northwest,

Hi MC,
So good to see you are enjoying creme de mint during your recovery process. I can't wait to see you and share some of it with you.

Presently I am hibernating from the chill outside, and dreaming of last week when I was in the Fla Keys soaking in sun and gazing at the palm trees!

Let me know when I can visit...
Pat
