It's growing in thick and soft and oh-so-urban (farm?) chic!

You look terrific - sort of like Dame Judith Dench(?) - the British actress. I always loved her look and style. I'm so happy to see you out and about. Have a safe trip to CA. Talk with you soon. love sally

MC, you do look great with short hair, I think you should stick with it for awhile! Now my head on the other hand...I look just incredibly awful when my hair is that close to my head, it reveals that my frame is much to large for the cue tip that rests above it. So whenever a person looks as good as you with a closely cropped top I say run with it.
I just arrived in San Fran last night, traveling around with my friend Dave in his van again, and I'm hoping that Krys and William will be able to get together with me, my sister Arden and her husband Rob here in Berkeley (Rob is also some sort of rocket scientist working for NASA.) I am really looking forward to the conversation between Rob and William cause they sound exactly alike...Easily excited, easily distracted, easily confused and super duper smart-should make for entertaining viewing! I will give you a full report if said evening does ensue.

Instead, MC will have outpatient endoscopic sinus surgery to take a few biopsies for safe measure and clean out her sinuses which, unrelated to the SNUC, have been clogged for years. More to come from the superhero herself......

Good thing, because when I got home and saw the Dr. at Penn, he of course identified the next step as radiation and chemo. When I asked if instead of doing that he would be willing to "follow me" - after all he can take a little scope and go up and look around quite easily - he said that he would, but would prefer that i have more surgery to remove the dura separating the sinus from the brain, go up and sample the brain and build a new dura. Then he would watch me monthly. After much hemming, hawing, talking with friends who have had cancer, a cancer coach, and an alternative cancer specialist, I have decided to go ahead with the proton radiation and cisplatin chemo for a 6 week period in Florida. Tom and I leave Sunday for a meeting with them on Wednesday. After a CAT scan, it will take them 2 weeks to get everything arranged and i wi...
